Privacy Policy_

Your privacy here is refreshingly simple: we don't collect your data. There is no tracking, no profiling, and nothing to opt out of.

Last updated: June 3, 2026

The short version: epidebug.help does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data about you. No accounts. No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. No advertising. What you read here stays between you and your browser.

Our Commitment

epidebug.help is a static documentation site for the EpiDebug developer toolkit. It is built to be read, not to watch you. We have intentionally designed this site to function entirely without gathering, processing, or retaining personal information.

This policy explains — in plain language — exactly what that means. Where a technical reality requires nuance (such as web fonts or standard server operation), we spell it out honestly rather than hide it.

What We Collect

Nothing

We do not collect personal data. To be specific, this site does not:

  • set or read cookies of any kind
  • use analytics services (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, or similar)
  • embed tracking pixels, web beacons, or device fingerprinting scripts
  • serve advertising or share information with ad networks
  • require accounts, logins, sign-ups, or registration
  • run contact forms, newsletters, or comment systems that store your input
  • build user profiles or track you across other websites
  • sell, rent, or trade any information to third parties

Cookies & Local Storage

The static pages on epidebug.help set no cookies and write nothing to your browser's local or session storage. You will not see a cookie consent banner here, because there is nothing to consent to.

Server Logs & Security

Like virtually every website on the internet, our web server (Caddy) must briefly process basic request information — such as the requesting IP address and the page being fetched — in order to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. This is an inherent part of how the web works.

We do not use this information to identify you, build a profile, or track you across the web, and we do not share or sell it. Connections are encrypted end-to-end with HTTPS via a free Let's Encrypt certificate.

Third-Party Resources

We deliberately keep outside connections to a minimum. In the interest of full transparency:

  • Web fonts. Pages load typography from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches these fonts, it contacts Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the files. See Google's privacy policy for details.
  • Articles / blog. The /blog section is powered by WordPress and may operate under its own configuration. If you visit it, treat it as a separate context from these static pages.
  • No widgets or trackers. We do not embed social media buttons, comment widgets, ad networks, or third-party analytics.

Your Rights & Control

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — there simply is no record of you to manage. You remain fully in control: nothing leaves your device through this site beyond the basic requests required to load each page.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since no personal data is collected from any visitor, no special handling is required.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page. Material changes will always preserve the core principle stated here: we don't collect your data.
